Intended purpose
Hibbs-Spratt bone curette is intended for use by orthopaedic surgeons to remove and debride bone tissue and intervertebral disc material during orthopaedic and spinal surgical procedures. The curette is applied to osseous or disc tissue within the operative surgical field. The angled curette profile is designed for access to intervertebral disc spaces and spinal bone cavities. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
