Intended purpose
Foreign body curette is intended for use by ENT surgeons and clinicians to retrieve foreign bodies from the ear canal, nasal cavity, or other accessible body cavities. The curette is passed alongside or behind the foreign body to dislodge and extract it. The curette profile is designed to pass behind and engage the foreign body within the canal without impacting it further. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
