Intended purpose
Endocervical biopsy curette is intended for use by gynaecologists to obtain tissue samples from the endocervical canal for histological examination during colposcopy or cervical assessment. The curette is introduced through the external cervical os into the endocervical canal of female patients. The narrow profile of the curette tip is designed to access the endocervical canal without excessive dilatation. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
