Intended purpose
Mandibular cortex screw is intended for use by maxillofacial and oral surgeons for the fixation of mandibular bone segments during maxillofacial and mandibular osteotomy procedures. The screw is implanted into mandibular cortical bone. The screw provides rigid fixation of the bony segments to maintain anatomical alignment during healing. Confirm MDR classification — implantable bone screws may require Class IIa or higher classification.
