Intended purpose
Joseph skin hook is intended for use by surgeons and plastic surgeons to engage and retract skin edges during plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures. The hook is applied to the dermis at the wound margins. The prong profile allows precise engagement of the dermis for controlled traction on the wound or tissue edge.
