Intended purpose
Guillaume bone gouge is intended for use by orthopaedic surgeons to shape and remove cortical and cancellous bone during bone reconstruction procedures. The gouge is applied to osseous tissue within the operative surgical field. The gouge tip is designed for precise removal of cancellous bone in orthopaedic reconstruction. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
