Intended purpose
Farabeuf bone rongeur is intended for use by orthopaedic surgeons to bite and remove cortical and cancellous bone tissue during bone resection and decompression procedures. The rongeur is applied to osseous tissue within the operative surgical field. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses in accordance with the reprocessing instructions supplied by the manufacturer.
