Intended purpose
Hemingway periodontal curette is intended for use by dentists and dental hygienists to remove subgingival calculus and debris from tooth root surfaces during periodontal treatment. The curette is applied to tooth root surfaces within the periodontal sulcus of dental patients. The double-ended design provides instruments for different root surfaces and pocket depths within a single instrument. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
