Intended purpose
Ophthalmic super-cut scissors are intended for use by ophthalmologists to perform fine dissection and cutting of iris, conjunctival, and anterior segment ocular tissue during ophthalmic surgery. The scissors are applied to delicate ocular tissue within the anterior segment of the operative eye. The super-cut blade edge maintains cutting sharpness on delicate ocular tissue across multiple uses. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
