Intended purpose
Ring cutter is intended for use by clinical and emergency staff to safely cut and remove metallic rings and jewellery from fingers of patients with soft tissue swelling or vascular compromise. The instrument is applied to the ring surface adjacent to the finger. The rotary cutting wheel is advanced progressively around the ring circumference to section the metal without requiring high-force instruments. The device is reusable.
