Intended purpose
Poirier bone chisel is intended for use by orthopaedic surgeons to cut and shape cortical and cancellous bone during bone operative procedures. The chisel is applied to osseous tissue within the operative surgical field. The pointed tip design provides precise access for bone division in confined orthopaedic anatomical spaces.
