Intended purpose
Wallich ovum curette is intended for use by gynaecologists to remove products of conception and retained ovular tissue from the uterine cavity during uterine evacuation procedures. The curette is introduced through the uterine cervical canal of female patients. The curette profile is designed to conform to the uterine wall contour during evacuation. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
