Intended purpose
Kocher retractor is intended for use by surgeons and surgical assistants to manually retract soft tissue and maintain wound exposure during open surgical and bone surgical procedures. The retractor is applied to soft tissue within the open surgical wound. The toothed or smooth blade tip provides firm retraction on fibrous and muscular tissue. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
