Intended purpose
Cushing retractor is intended for use by neurosurgeons to retract neural and soft tissue to maintain operative exposure during cranial and spinal surgical procedures. The retractor is applied to neural and soft tissue within the cranial or spinal operative field. The flat blade design minimises pressure on delicate neural structures during retraction.
