Intended purpose
Uterine aspiration curette is intended for use by gynaecologists to evacuate the uterine cavity by aspiration during suction curettage or manual vacuum aspiration procedures. The curette is introduced through the uterine cervical canal into the uterine cavity of female patients. The cannula provides suction-driven evacuation of the uterine contents when connected to a manual or mechanical aspiration source. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
