Intended purpose
Insufflation tube is intended for use by surgeons to introduce gas into a body cavity to establish a pneumoperitoneum or pneumothorax for laparoscopic or thoracoscopic surgical access. The tube directs gas flow into the target body cavity under controlled pressure. The device is for single patient use. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
