Intended purpose
Payr pyloric clamp is intended for use by general and upper gastrointestinal surgeons to occlude the pylorus during gastric and duodenal surgical procedures. The clamp is applied to the pyloric tissue within the abdominal operative field. The jaw design provides atraumatic pyloric wall occlusion without damaging the mucosa or seromuscular layers. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
