Intended purpose
Molt periosteal elevator is intended for use by oral surgeons and dentists to elevate and reflect the mucoperiosteum from alveolar bone and to loosen teeth from their sockets during dento-alveolar surgical procedures within the oral cavity. The curved working end allows periosteal elevation in the narrow anatomical spaces of the dental socket and interdental papilla. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
