Intended purpose
Needle holder is intended for use by surgeons to grasp and drive suture needles during wound closure following surgical procedures. The instrument is applied to suture needles within the operative field. The jaw serrations provide secure grip on the needle shaft without rotation during the suturing motion. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
