Intended purpose
Rycroft injection cannula is intended for use by ophthalmologists to irrigate the anterior chamber or inject viscoelastic material during intraocular surgical procedures. The cannula is introduced into the anterior chamber of the operative eye. The blunt-tipped cannula allows controlled fluid delivery into the anterior chamber without corneal endothelial damage. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
