Intended purpose
Garrette kidney dilator is intended for use by urologists to progressively dilate the ureter or ureteropelvic junction during ureteral surgical procedures. The dilator is applied to the ureteral lumen within the operative field. The graduated dilator series allows progressive dilation of the ureteral or ureteropelvic lumen to the required diameter. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
