Intended purpose
Atraumatic bulldog clamp is intended for use by vascular surgeons to temporarily and atraumatically occlude peripheral blood vessels during vascular operative procedures. The clamp is applied to vessel walls within the vascular operative field. The atraumatic jaw design minimises intimal injury during temporary vessel occlusion. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
