Intended purpose
Lempert instrument is intended for use by otologists and ENT surgeons during mastoid and middle ear surgical procedures. The instrument is applied to osseous or soft tissue within the mastoid/temporal bone operative field. The instrument provides access to the confined spaces of the mastoid and middle ear for tissue and bone manipulation. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
