Intended purpose
Liston bone cutting forceps are intended for use by orthopaedic and general surgeons to cut and section cortical and cancellous bone during bone resection procedures. The instrument is applied to osseous tissue within the operative surgical field. The blade action provides a controlled, repeatable cutting stroke through cortical and cancellous bone. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
