Intended purpose
Adson aspiration cannula is intended for use by surgeons to aspirate blood and fluid from the operative field during open surgical procedures. The cannula is applied to the operative field. The tapered cannula tip facilitates access into surgical wound spaces for targeted aspiration. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
