Intended purpose
Lane stomach clamp is intended for use by general and upper gastrointestinal surgeons to occlude the stomach lumen and control gastric contents during gastrectomy and gastric surgical procedures. The clamp is applied to the gastric wall within the abdominal operative field. The jaw design provides atraumatic gastric wall occlusion to control gastric contents during resection procedures. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
