Intended purpose
Ureter clamp is intended for use by urologists to temporarily occlude the ureter during ureteral surgical procedures. The clamp is applied to the ureteral wall within the retroperitoneal or pelvic operative field. The jaw design provides secure ureteral occlusion without crushing the mucosal wall. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
