Intended purpose
Adenoid punch is intended for use by ENT surgeons to resect adenoid tissue from the nasopharynx of paediatric patients during adenoidectomy. The instrument is introduced through the oropharynx into the nasopharynx. The punch bites are taken sequentially to remove the adenoid tissue in controlled increments. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
