Intended purpose
Ear forceps are intended for use by otologists and ENT surgeons to grasp, manipulate, and remove foreign bodies, polyps, or tissue within the external auditory canal and middle ear space during otological examination and operative procedures. The fine jaw design allows access within the confines of the external auditory canal without obstructing the operator's line of sight. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
