Intended purpose
Ear curette is intended for use by otologists, ENT surgeons, and audiologists to remove cerumen and debris from the external auditory canal during aural toilet procedures. The curette is introduced into the external auditory meatus of patients. The angled tip allows access to the posterior and inferior ear canal recesses for cerumen removal. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
