Intended purpose
Simon uterine sharp curette is intended for use by gynaecologists to scrape and evacuate the uterine endometrial lining within the uterine cavity during diagnostic or therapeutic curettage. The curette is introduced through the uterine cervical canal of female patients. The sharp curette tip provides mechanical debridement of the endometrial lining. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
