Intended purpose
Uterine depressor is intended for use by gynaecologists and obstetricians to displace and expose the uterus during gynaecological and obstetric operative procedures. The instrument is applied to uterine tissue within the pelvic operative field of female patients. The double-ended design provides displacement in two directions without instrument exchange. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
