Intended purpose
Vulsellum forceps are intended for use by gynaecologists to grasp and manipulate the uterine cervix during gynaecological operative procedures. The instrument is applied to the cervical tissue of female patients. The toothed jaw design provides secure grip on the cervical portio for manipulation during operative procedures. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
