Intended purpose
Cotton applicator is intended for use by clinical and surgical staff to apply topical medicaments, antiseptic solutions, or wound care preparations to wound surfaces, mucous membranes, and surgical sites. The applicator is applied directly to the target tissue surface. The cotton tip provides a disposable absorbent medium for localised topical agent application. The applicator shaft length is selected based on the target site depth.
