Intended purpose
Uterine probe is intended for use by gynaecologists to assess patency, direction, and depth of the uterine cavity and cervical canal prior to intrauterine procedures. The instrument is introduced through the uterine cervical canal into the uterine cavity of female patients. The probe length and graduated scale allow assessment and documentation of uterine cavity geometry. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
