Intended purpose
Ryder needle holder is intended for use by surgeons to grasp and drive fine suture needles during wound closure following open surgical procedures. The instrument is applied to suture needles within the operative field. The fine jaw and tungsten carbide inserts provide enhanced grip for fine monofilament sutures. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
