Intended purpose
Towel clip is intended for use by scrub nurses and surgical assistants to secure sterile drapes and operative field covers to the patient during surgical procedures. The clip is applied to draping material at the periphery of the sterile operative field. The spring-loaded jaw mechanism provides sustained grip on the draping material throughout the operative procedure. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
