Intended purpose
O'Shaugnessy mixer clamp is intended for use by surgeons to dissect around and clamp vascular pedicles and tissue structures during open surgical procedures. The clamp is applied to vascular and tissue structures within the operative field. The instrument is designed for blunt dissection around vascular structures prior to clamping and ligation. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
