Intended purpose
Angiotribe vascular crushing forceps are intended for use by surgeons to crush and permanently occlude blood vessel walls during vascular ligation procedures in open surgical fields. The forceps are applied to blood vessels within the operative field. The instrument permanently occludes vessels to eliminate the need for separate ligation. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
