Intended purpose
Gynaecological scissors are intended for use by gynaecologists to cut and dissect tissue during gynaecological operative procedures. The scissors are applied to pelvic soft tissue within the gynaecological operative field of female patients. The blade profile is designed to access the deep pelvic operative field during gynaecological procedures. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
