Intended purpose
Stille-Barraya atraumatic tissue forceps are intended for use by surgeons to gently grasp and manipulate delicate soft tissue structures with minimal tissue trauma during open surgical procedures. The forceps are applied to soft tissue within the operative surgical field. The fine longitudinal serrations permit secure tissue engagement while minimising crush injury. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
