Intended purpose
Scalpel handle is intended for use by surgeons and surgical assistants as a grip for interchangeable surgical blades during incision and dissection of tissue in open surgical procedures. The handle accepts standard scalpel blade sizes. The knurled grip surface provides secure operator control of the blade throughout the incision. The handle accepts standard size-matched surgical blades.
