Intended purpose
Surgical knife is intended for use by surgeons to make incisions and dissect tissue during open surgical procedures. The knife is applied to soft tissue within the operative field. The blade is applied to tissue in a controlled incision and dissection motion. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
