Intended purpose
Wire mesh basket is intended for use by sterile services and central sterilisation department personnel to contain and transport surgical instruments during cleaning, disinfection, and sterilisation processes. The basket is not intended for direct patient contact. The open mesh design allows cleaning and sterilising agents to circulate freely around all instrument surfaces during the decontamination cycle. The basket is reusable.
